I am an international student in Australia. I am studying network and cyber security. So, i need an laptop recommendation within the price range of 1700-1800 AUD. I did look at some lenovo yoga’s but got confused as which to choose. Need something with good battery life as my previous gaming laptop gave me 2.5 Hrs backup.
If you are comfortable with Mac OS I would recommend a Macbook air 15 with m4 however if you prefer to use a laptop with Windows or Linux Check out the Lenovo yoga slim 7 15 aura edition or the thinkpad x9 15 aura edition.

For cybersecurity you definitely need a windows. Personally I would go for the ThinkPad X1 carbon or the ThinkPad X9 if you could find one in that range. Other than that I would simply go for a yoga pro 7 with maxed out components ( core ultra 9/ 32GB Ram/ 1TB SSD)
Make sure the laptop has a good keyboard; trust me on this one.
Also, if you can afford a laptop with an Intel Lunar Lake CPU, that’s what you should get, as the battery life on Lunar Lake is so much better than gaming laptops’ Arrow Lake HX.
