I’m looking for a laptop recommendation. I just recently bought the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i RTX 5050 and I really enjoy the great screen, the touch input, and some of the specs. But the battery life seems like it is going to be a huge problem for when I travel and don’t have access to a charger. I want a laptop that can do everything I need for school and the occasional gaming while I’m not home with my PC. I want input if I should stay with the Yoga or switch to something like the Zephyrus G16 or others. I want something that is a good productivity laptop, larger (14+ screen) so I can get stuff done without a monitor, and a decent battery life. I’m willing to spend around $2k as this is for my Masters Program and will be used frequently. Open to any recommendations and appreciate the input!
Yes, Lenovo laptops don’t usually have good battery life thanks to its high resolution amazing display. You can stick to any Lenovo laptop with lower screen resolution as it saves battery. The zephyrus G16 is definitely a good pick I don’t like the gamer slash on the back of the laptop, other than that I think it’s okay. Another option could be the ProArt P16 by ASUS.
You could return it and get the Zephyrus G16, I think you will be pleased more with that laptop.
Awesome, thank you both for the recommendations. I will probably look at trading in for the G16. I think that’ll be a great laptop that I enjoy a bit more.
