Heat you feel of Zephyrus G16 5070 ti vs lower variants

I heard that the G16 has different chassis and cooling solution for the 5070ti and above vs 5070 and below variants.

Does the 5060 G16 still feel just as cool to the touch as the 5070ti variant? I noticed that the review for the proart p16 includes “Always a little warm” so I’m worried that the 5060 variant I’m looking at will also be warm to use.

It should feel cooler since it has a lower wattage GPU. But I can’t recommend that variant since it has only 16gb of non upgrable Ram.

Thanks for the input, for some reason its available with 32gb of soldered ram in my country which is why I was considering it.

Hi @E-M ,

Yes the G16 with a 5070 Ti, 5080, and 5090 does have a different cooling solution. The laptop is 1mm thicker with a 2 fan cooling solution and a vapor chamber. The models with 5070 and 5060 are slightly thinner with a 3 fan cooling solution without the vapor chamber.

The Zephyrus is one of the cooler feeling gaming laptops. You should be fine with it.
