Hi! I’ve already asked once and I got the best response (thank you all), but I forgot to ask about one thing. I’m in love with the Zephyrus G16/G14, and I’m planning to buy one whenever they are on discount. My budget is $2k and I don’t think I can go anything beyond that. I’ve been checking the 5070 G16 for a while and it’s really tempting especially that it gets discounted very often and the difference between it and the 5070Ti is around $1k. My problem isn’t with the GPU as I dont play a lot, and I don’t mind lowering the settings a tiny bit as I’m used to playing on an Xbox Series S. I’m hesitant cuz the 5070 G16 only has 16gb RAM. I’m wondering if that would be enough for the next 5-6 years or so. (I’m starting uni next year as a chemical engineering student for context). If not, should I look for other laptops? And what other laptops of the same specs, great battery life, and premium feel do you recommend? Thanks a lot in advance

If you want a more portable laptop I suggest to wait for a sale on the Zephyrus g16, Black Friday is just around the corner
I personally think you’ll be fine. If you are student, loads you put on the laptop tend to be less. I think you’ll enjoy a better laptop like the Zephyrus G16 more than a cheaper one with better specs. This being said, i’d wait to the week of Black Friday before buying just in case you see a big drop on a higher spec’d Zephyrus G16

. I recently saw the Proart P16, and I’m torn between it and the G16. I saw some reviews that say its battery is even better than that of the G16, but you review says it had only ≈6 hours of battery life. Is there a chance that the unit you got had some issue? I would say the Proart is better than G16 in every aspect especially cuz it has 32gb ram and the amd cpu, but the battery might be an issue (Ik 6 hours is really good too, but if I’m paying that amount I guess I want the best value for my money
