Could you also tell us what laptops they’re in? AMD chips usually come with Mediatek WiFi and that is less than ideal, so since some models ship with it soldered you might want to avoid getting stuck with it.
Ryzen 450 is a renamed 350, a disappointing 8 core 15-45w chip with decent 860M graphics.
255HX is basically a desktop CPU with, on top of 8 performance-oriented cores, 12 efficiency ones that let it run at between 45 and 160 watts (expect 55 sustained in a well-cooled laptop) but with a rubbish iGPU of 4 cores (though accompanied by an Nvidia unit that matters less)
So the 255HX will offer no battery life whatsoever, the 450 will be a champ due to not requiring as much power due to simply not being as much CPU.
Unfortunately AMD has been dropping the ball on all but 9-class CPUs which are a very good recommendation.
Do finally also note that Intel’s BE series of WiFi7 cards only works with Intel CPUs for the time being, so even if you can swap out the AMD device’s Mediatek one you’ll be stuck with an AX series WiFi 6 unit.
