Hey folks. I’m cs student with datascience specialization and I need a laptop. I’m thinking about Aero X16, because you recommended it but there are 2 processors options. Ryzen AI 7 350 and Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 (both laptops with rtx 5070). I know that ai 9 hx 370 is more powerful, but does it come with some compromises like worse battery life than x16 with ai 7 350? And is hx 370 substantially more powerful than 7 350 and worth it?
It depends, you will gain more single and multicore performance but you will lose more battery life.

If you need the extra cores that Ryzen 9 is really decent CPU, and it will be really helpful for the tasks that you are trying to do

Basically, if you need the extra CPU performance, then yes. If you’re just gaming on non FPS games, then no, prioritize the GPU instead.
