I’ve been using Linux for a while and the support for gaming laptops have been greatly increased since last time I researched laptops so now my options for a laptop have opened up greatly. What I need is basically a laptop that I can use for a long time while unplugged to use for school, but when I get home I can plug it in and still do some gaming.
Let’s get down to business, I need:
-
A Premium Feel with preferably black or maybe silver color
-
High Quality Trackpad and Screen
-
Relatively Lightweight (I don’t want one of those super beefy laptops)
-
Maximum screen size of 16"
-
Minimum screen size of 14"
-
Sleek Design, want to try and avoid obnoxious RGB on the cover, but I understand that most can be turned off so it is not a huge deal.
-
Long lasting battery life
-
Decent specs, I don’t need anything crazy
-
Repairability like SSD or RAM slots
-
Budget is about $2,000
For somewhere to start, I was looking at the ASUS TUF A14 last time.
