Which laptop should I buy for college + light gaming? (I’m fine lowering resolution I already have a PC for heavy games)

Based on your description it seems like you’re just doing casual stuff and you can go for something much cheaper like sometimes you can find for around $600 a yoga book 14 with 16 GB of RAM 1 tb of storage and a kraken point Ryzen (ai) 7 isn’t that powerful but should it be enough for late gaming and sure to be plenty for any normal use plus I think that you would enjoy a nice OLED screen (don’t we all)

I have a Zenbook Duo with the 255H which handles Minecraft easily, but ramps up its fans for Peak, GTA or Fallout 4.

Given the integrated graphics, I would go Zenbook (255H is the most powerful) with 32GB of RAM. You might be overpaying a tad but given it’ll act as your video memory you will probably be glad you have it.
