If you’re not sensitive to OLED PWM flickering, you can try the Legion 7i. It might not have the best battery life, but it should still be okay, and the RAM is upgradable by the end user, meaning hopefully when RAM prices stabilize, you can upgrade it post purchase.
If you need something cheaper, that might be a bit more tricky…

My max budget is $1800
Im eyeing for Asus ROG Strix G16 2025 the intel version, even though it costs a little over my budget. I think it has a better battery and fan than Leigon pro 7i
My dilemma is to chose between gaming laptop and a laptop with security features like hardware encryption, TPM, secure boot, etc but they come with less processing power
