Laptop for a computer science major

I am a computer science major and need a laptop. Do I get a MacBook Pro 14 or an Asus G14. Or any suggestions about what to get

I just answered this one in another thread, but i’d get the MPB14 or the TUF A14. I’d skip the G14 personally. The Ryzen 7 350 CPU in the TUF gives it longer battery life and runs cooler than the G14

If you’re fine with getting a MacBook, and check to make sure that there would be no compatibility issues with getting one, I would recommend getting one, since they are such good laptops, Otherwise, I would also go with either the TUF 14, or maybe even the Gigabyte Aero if you’re on a tighter budget. I don’t think you would need such a strong computer with the G14, and the G14 can get uncomfortably hot.
