Want to know your opinions on ThinkPad X1 Carbon 9th generation. I can get a refurbished one for $480. I am on a tight budget. What do you think about this laptop being worthy in 2025?

It’s a premium laptop, but it’s an older Model.
For that budget there are sometimes refurbished M2 MacBook Airs and even some Laptops with Lunar lake like the Acer Aspire AI.
If you are looking at new laptops, only The OmniBooks and some gaming laptops hit the $500 price range.

Thanks for your response. I don’t want MAC. In Windows, what is your suggestion regarding this price range? I have no problem with refurbished products.

What is the price range? Under $600 or $500?
Under 500 is preferable.
