Advice Needed: Consultant looking for a laptop

Hello, does anyone have suggestions for me on a Windows laptop in the 1300-1600 USD range.

I’m a Consultant for a tech company, my typical pc workload has about 15-20 Chrome Tabs open at once, several Word Docs, several Excel Sheets, Slack, Outlook and other business apps open all at the same time.

I’m looking for something that can handle all that easily. I am not concerned with the weight of the laptop.

The cherry on top would be a laptop that can support a 5120x1440 resolution at 60hz for my Odyssey G9. Probably not likely, but you never know!

I’m also going to be buying around Boxing Week so feel free to recommend anything that may be a bit above 1600 USD retail price.

Thanks!

Idk about that resolution but many laptops can now support external monitors at 4k 60 Hz. Your requirements are not that huge. Take a look at ThinkPad X1 carbon or the X9 both are good laptops. The X1 is more expensive than the X9. Another option could be a MacBook Air or a MacBook pro. MacBook pro is better as it can definitely support your Odyssey monitor. Its upto you, you prefer windows or macs.

These are the best options for you.
