I am going to college soon; I will be doing CIS, coding, and some light gaming on the side as well. My budget is around $1000 but can be a bit flexible (±$200). I found this for $1,012.84, and I am debating on whether I should wait it out or just buy now. I am also looking for any other recommendation for a laptop, ideally with 32 GB of RAM and an OLED screen, but it is not a requirement.
I think you could get a better deal for that 1k USD, plus I don’t think Panther lake laptops are gonna reach that low of a price so the best advice I can give you is wait for a deal on a previous year model.

I would add the $200 and get the IdeaPad Pro, it has decent screen size, OLED screen, great CPU for coding and multitasking and has a discrete GPU for when you are gaming, one downside could be the lack of 32gb of RAM, otherwise it’s pretty good.
You can also check the HP with Panther Lake CPU but beware that this one does not have the ARC B390 IGPU.
