Laptop for System Developer .NET Student

Hey, feels like I’ve been searching for a laptop forever!

I need some help with suggestions with a 32gb laptop, good screen, good keyboard and portability.

I found this Yoga Pro 7i 14, will it be fine?
I dont care about the touch screen part and I dont want a gpu in the laptop.
My plan is to buy another ssd so I can run both linux and windows

Yeah good choice, the only bad thing about this yoga is actually the trackpad. If you’ve used a haptic trackpad or other actually good trackpads then you will find this quite bad, but if not then you can live with it, won’t notice a thing.

Btw, what’s kr? The currency used for the laptop’s price?

This is a very decent choice.

Oh. I’m using an 8gb ram macbook air m2 15” right now with a very nice trackpad.

What other laptops would you recommend? the yoga slim 7i is more expensive and not as powerful cpu the v-series.

kr is swedish currency krona

Don’t you like macos? The M4 macbook air is good.

I want to get away from macos, also the software we use in school is windows only

Why not try something like a ThinkPad? I like the X1 carbon but it’s expensive, another option is the ThinkPad X9. Look at those, but keep in mind that those have a weaker CPU, thanks to that you will have great battery life.

They are much more expensive than the yoga pro 7i so I think I will order it and try it. I hope lenovo has a good return policy

Go to a nearby Lenovo store or any retailer. Have a feel of the device and then decide. I am always against blindly buying anything without looking at the deal deal.
