Laptop for PhD in Risk Management

Hello all,

I’m currently working in Risk management domain. So most of the time I work with excel, sql, python, R and a lot of data for analytics purpose. I also work with vendor models from RiskLink, Verisk, Cotality and Impact Forecasting Elements. Some open source platforms like oasis.

Currently in going to start few courses on ML and AI. Next year in going to transition into PhD and am looking for a laptop that would help me in studies as well as side jobs.

Please help me with opting a laptop for the next 5 years.

As somebody working with data science and currently working on a thesis within A.I my recommendation is to get something with a dedicated GPU from Nvidia, along with 32GB of RAM (Memory).
