Intel Core Ultra 7 258V vs 268V Lunar Lake Processors

I’m looking at the Lenovo X9 and X1 Carbon Gen13, and both have the option of 258V or 268V. I know the 268V will have slightly better performance, but is there also going to be significant decrease in battery life or more heat/throttling?

On some models the 268V is actually cheaper; I have to assume people aren’t liking it as much?

It’s the same CPU, it just has higher clock speeds.

The main differentiation other than slightly higher boost clock is the 268V has vPro, which is for enterprise device management. As for the prices, they depend on supply and other factors mostly.
