Asus Zenbook 14 OLED core ultra 9 288h vs Lenovo Yoga slim 7i OLED core ultra 7 258V

Guyz specs wise it’s definitely a straight win for the zenbook but I’ve heard asus has got quality issues so which laptop should I go for cuz I’m getting both in the same price with same ram(32gb) and storage (1TB).

Just to clarify on the Zenbook, do you mean Core Ultra 9 288V or 285H? One is lunar lake and one is arrow lake so they perform very differently. 288V would likely stay cooler and have better battery life. 285H would perform much better but might get warm.

We haven’t seen quality issues from ASUS, especially in the light user laptops, but other reviewers might have. I would look at a variety of sources and reviews to make sure.

We like the Slim 7i a lot though, and it has great battery life. Just poor multi core speeds.

I mean the core ultra 9 285h zenbook

Okay then yeah, you’re basically deciding between multi core performance and battery life. What’s more important to you?

I’m a singer and a creator so yeah I would like better performance even if the battery life is relatively lesser than the low performing competition.

Are you just doing audio or do you edit videos as well?

I edit videos as well

You might want to consider a laptop with dedicated graphics then, especially if you don’t care about battery life.
