hey,

My name is Vishnu , I am from india looking to buy a new laptop for my coding and gaming usecase and I have narrowed down my options to lenovo legion 5 amd 260 rtx 5050 and hp omen 16 amd ai 7 rtx 5050 laptops both of which are around 1 lakh 30 thousand INR (1400 dollars).
I don’t know which to choose between these two, So I am hoping to get your advice

I feel like you could get an RTX 5060 Laptop for that price. In which stores do they have those models you mentioned?

Out of these two, I would pick the Legion 5, to be honest, for better quality, although the HP Omen has a better CPU for coding and gaming.

So the problem is the 5050 hp omen is around 1lakh 30( 1400 dollars) 24gb ram 1tb SSD 165hz wuxga display while the 5060 version with same spec jumps to 1600 usd and the latest Lenovo legion starts at this price while the previous year one is around 1450 dollars and the laptops prices are from Amazon and some local hp and Lenovo stores

My budget is around 1 lakh 30(1400 usd) and the ones you sent are around 1lakh 50(1600)

Yeah but the reviews for that one were not good , the omen is not good?

There should be some coupons or promo codes on the Lenovo website that can help drop the price.

Omen is low midrange, above the budget Victus Model. But the Lenovo is better than the Omen in terms of build quality

Around 1600 dollars so yeah prices are high over here

I’ll choose the Lenovo Legion 5 imo, better laptop than the rest

I tried different stores but legion 5 price is very high 1lakh 50 1500 dollars so I think I am going with the omen and the only model that comes close is Lenovo legion amd 260 but upgrading the specs make it more costly than omen which comes with 24gb 1tb out of box
