Greetings everyone!
I’m heading to college in the fall and need a laptop for school to replace my old Acer Nitro 5 (2020). I’ve done some research on Walmart and Best Buy and found three potential candidates that I’d like help deciding between:
-
HP OmniBook X Flip 2-in-1 with Intel Core Ultra 7 355, 24GB RAM and 512GB Storage for $900 (https://www.bestbuy.com/product/hp-omnibook-x-flip-2-in-1-14-2k-touchscreen-laptop-intel-core-ultra-7-24gb-memory-512gb-ssd-atmospheric-blue/JJGWKY4466)
-
Lenovo - Yoga 7i 2-in-1 2K OLED with Intel Core Ultra 7 355, 24GB RAM and 512GB Storage for $1,100 (https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lenovo-yoga-7i-2-in-1-14-2k-oled-touchscreen-laptop-core-ultra-7-processor-355-2026-24gb-memory-512gb-ssd-copilot-pc-luna-grey/JJGH3KXVKG)
-
ASUS Zenbook 14 3K OLED with Intel Core Ultra 7 258V, 32GB RAM and 1TB Storage for $1,300 (link below)
I’m looking for preferably a 14" laptop (though 13/15 inch is also fine) for portability. I don’t really care for any 2-in-1 features since I already have an iPad, though the laptop should have at least a 7-8 hour battery life and be able to handle some light gaming (though that’s not really necessary as I can just use my old Acer Nitro 5).
I haven’t been considering Macs due to the recent price increase (though if there are any Macs at a similar price point that are better than the above please recommend).
