Deciding Between 3 Laptops for College

Greetings everyone!

I’m heading to college in the fall and need a laptop for school to replace my old Acer Nitro 5 (2020). I’ve done some research on Walmart and Best Buy and found three potential candidates that I’d like help deciding between:

  3. ASUS Zenbook 14 3K OLED with Intel Core Ultra 7 258V, 32GB RAM and 1TB Storage for $1,300 (link below)

I’m looking for preferably a 14" laptop (though 13/15 inch is also fine) for portability. I don’t really care for any 2-in-1 features since I already have an iPad, though the laptop should have at least a 7-8 hour battery life and be able to handle some light gaming (though that’s not really necessary as I can just use my old Acer Nitro 5).

I haven’t been considering Macs due to the recent price increase (though if there are any Macs at a similar price point that are better than the above please recommend).

The Omnibook has the 2 in 1 feature but like u mentioned it’s not necessary, so I would lean towards the Yoga for a better keyboard experience. The Zenbook can be good as well but all 3 of them will have decent battery life and performance. Omnibook I would say has better port selections, Yoga has the better keyboard and the Zenbook has more RAM and storage. It just depends on what u prefer, personally I would choose the Yoga for the brighter OLED screen.

I would go for the Lenovo Yoga, I think it’s a really good option.

Is this another Zenbook or the same you listed above? Because S14 and 14 are different.

Zenbook S14 and Zenbook 14 are different, it’s just that the 14 is more appealing to me than the S14, at the end of the day it’s up to u

OK so you have not actually listed a regular 14 for it would have an H CPU (255H if Ultra 7, quite a bit better than the V). It would also have a flimsier (still plenty robust) chassis and worse battery life (though my Duo lasts a day, the regular 14 won’t have any issue for most stuff.
