What is the best deal in order

considering I need the best stable performer, cooler for really hot environment, better battery performance and longer battery life. No problems in connectivity to external monitors.

The Lenovo laptop is the better choice, better screen and CPU and more storage for a similar price, are you in the U.S. or in another country?

I’m from Iraq. Which is extremely hot :fire: and Before this I got a legion 5 5070 and it was extremely unstable.

Do you have the intel version of the Strx G16? Intel’s arrowlake hx chip provides better battery life over AMD 9955Hx and in addition, the intel version of Strix G16 gets a new Chassis which address some problems such as blowing hot air on your hand. The Strix G16 has MUCH better cooling over Legion Pro 5i but the legion has a nice oled display.

The deal is only on the amd 9955hx model of strix and I can’t really go past this price

Well in that case here are the pros and cons of Strix G16 AMD and Legion Pro

Strix G16 Pros:

  • Very good thermals
  • Best performing CPU for gaming

Strix G16 Cons:

  • Display is good but is IPS instead of OLED (which can be pro)
  • Heavy
  • Battery life is bad

Legion Pro 5i Pros:

  • A very nice OLED display
  • Portable (at least lighter in comparison to strix g16)
  • Uses Arrowlake HX which has slightly better single core performance if you need it

Legion 5i Cons:

  • Very hot keyboard while gaming
  • Battery is worse than the G16 despite having a more efficient arrowlake HX chip

I don’t care that much about oled. What I really care about is a stable peforming laptop that doesn’t keep thermal throttling all the time with a good battery life. Hot keyboard, oled and 240 I consider as a privilege. Though I really like the intel model of asus it’s amazing

Do u think it will go on sale or should I pick up these before they end

Also what’s your opinion on 275hx version of legion pro 7i for 2079$

Thanks in advance for your help

Its hard to predict sales for different countries.

In general the Strix has better cooling and battery while the Legion has better performance when compared together so it depends on which is more important for you.

$2079 for a legion pro 7i with 5070ti sounds like an okay deal but are you shopping from US or Iraq? I highly doubt you’d be able to get a legion pro 7i for that price outside of US. For comparison, a legion 7 with 5070 (not PRO) with 5070 costs about $2079 in my country.
