Hello. I’ve been browsing through the Samsungs Galaxy Book 6 Pro 16 listing on the website and I’ve got a bit confused.
The scorecard here implies that the SSD isn’t upgradeable and that there are palm rejection issues with the trackpad.
However, when I was watching Cierra’s review of the laptop, I think she mentioned that the SSD is replaceable and that there’s a second SSD slot, and that she didn’t experience any palm rejection issues herself? Which one is true and should I believe? Thanks.

We don’t fill in anything when the config is created; we fill in as much as we can from the product listing and then when the testing team gets it and completes their testing, they fill in the more “subjective” things like the looks, touchpad feel, and keyboard feel.
The SSD is replaceable on almost all Windows laptops (MacBooks are obviously a different story and why you don’t see many fields with sensitive data like with HIPPA in the US use MacBooks); we’ll check if the Galaxy Book 6 Pro 16 has two SSD slots again and fix it if this is the case.
Edit: I cannot verify if there is a second SSD slot on this laptop, but the primary one is in fact NVMe, meaning the SSD or SSDs in this laptop are in fact upgradable. If you see eMMC or UFS on laptop storage (especially the sub $500 “bargain bin e-waste” laptops), stay far away from them. These are almost always not worth it because I have only found one case where these types of storage were replaceable; it was on the original Steam Deck LCD that has 64 GB of storage, as the eMMC was on a M.2 2230 board that was replaceable (and it was highly recommended to replace it for many reasons, including slow speeds, not enough room, and also issues with other OSs that weren’t SteamOS, even Linux based ones). I have changed the storage to be upgradable.
