Hi! I saw a 5070ti G14 on bestbuy for 1600 (Excellent - Open box), so I wanted your opinions and experiences with open boxes from best buy if you ever bought an open box laptop from them. Reddit has the most conflicting opinions on open boxes so I figured it was better to ask here.
I am looking for a laptop PC that is worth the money, and will last for years. I do go online, use email, and zoom call, but I also write books. I have spent lots of time comparing, but when I found your site, I’m hoping you can steer me to my best option. Thank you.
a Macbook Air could be a good device for you.
It should be fine most of the time, I think you also have some kind of warranty just in case anything does not come as expected.
In my experience it’s a crap shoot. Usually open box excellent are good but I have had a couple of ones that should have been good or fair. The good models can be very good with low hours or they could be the display model with hundreds or even 1000 hours on them in a couple instances for me.
