I want to buy a laptop for my university around 1k if possible. I’m an electrical engineering major so I use different softwares to plot out circuits. I’m not a gamer so don’t need a very powerful GPU. I walk a lot so if it’s portable that would be great. I plan on using my GAN charger so if it is USB C supported that would be nice!
I would go for that Zenbook model, or you can wait for the Intel Version to go on sale again for $900.
I don’t think that you need much but if you want to go overboard then you can go usually for well I guess it’s kind of a boring suggestion but usually you can get for just over $800 to the vivo book s15 with the top tier strix point Apu I’m 32 GB of RAM and one terabyte of storage should be overkill but should have satisfy your needs and it has a really good battery life as well as a really nice screen
A mac will be the best performance per $ as long as your software is supported
Which means basically likely no😉
Also you can get on best buy right now a open box Acer 2in1 laptop with a 16” 2.8k OLED and the core ultra 7 256v for 600
Also update, it is now for 659, but still a good deal
