I’m looking for a laptop for IT work, SQL, Power BI, and AI tools. I’ve been checking:

Asus ZenBook S14 / 14, Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Aura / 7i Aura

Possibly a MacBook (if it can run my tools efficiently)

I saw bad reviews for both the Yoga and ZenBook, which confused me. I want good performance, battery life, build quality, and value for money. Any suggestions or better alternatives?

Would like to know ur country so that I could check options available for you, also just comparing yogas to zenbooks doesn’t make too much sense as the specs they come with matter a lot too, if u could give that along with individual pricing, i could give u more insight on better options

Country, market(Saudi Arabia) budget $900–$1,300.

Considering:

ZenBook S14 (Ultra 7 258V, 32GB, 1TB, OLED, ~$1500)

ZenBook 14 (Ultra 7 255H, 16GB, 512 MB, ~$1050)

Yoga Slim 7 Aura (Ultra 7 258v, 32GB, 1TB, ~$1300)

MacBook Air M3 (16GB, 512GB, ~$1200)

Seems like the Yoga slim 7 aura is your best option for your budget if you want a more powerful CPU for the task you mentioned then I will go for the Zenbook 14, but you will lose battery life
