I’m considering this as a gift. I know it can’t play AAA games. But can it play less intense indie games like Don’t Starve or Fields of Mistria or Planet Coaster? Also, can it handle light video editing, maybe off an online thing like CapCut?
The yoga has a lunar lake processor- like core ultra 7/9 with a V in the end. Capcut and low end editing even on professional softwares like Adobe premiere Pro, DaVinci resolve, etc can run well. Indie games can be easily played the chip is powerful enough. The lunarlake GPU is powerful enough to even play old AAA titles in modest settings, good for casual gamers. It’s a nice choice as a gift for a highschooler or a uni student who doesn’t have much demands.
Yes, it can handle those with no issues.
Wow I thought you’d need a dedicated graphics card to run something like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci? Lunar lake is better than I thought!
one of these games is much more demanding than the others ![]()
You don’t need to worry much about cap cut performance no matter what as long as you get a reasonably modern laptop because that cap cut uses online compute so what you don’t mean much performance locally
Especially its sequel! ![]()
In all seriousness, Lunar Lake should be fine as long as you keep your in game settings in check.
