I’m looking for a laptop for uni for engineering next school year. I am in Canada and everything I see is so expensive. Is there any laptops with good performance that is around 1.5k?
I would advise you to wait for a sale and buy a Lenovo Legion 5. These models come with a decent CPU, enough RAM, and a dedicated GPU for your engineering programs that may require CUDA. Look for the RTX 5050 or RTX 5060 models.
