Hey, I’m a student planning on buying a computer for engineering and gaming. My college starts in fall of 2027. And I’ve done some of my own research, but I want to get your take on this matter as well. I’m trying to get as powerful of a computer I can under a budget of two thousand dollars, but preferably under fifteen hundred. But most importantly, I’m just looking for something that is high value and gives good bang for buck. What I want to know is whether I should wait until next year to buy a computer, if I should wait till Black Friday deals or I should buy a computer before that whenever there is a good deal I see on your page? I’m also worried about ram prices increasing next year. So I wanted to see what your take on this matter is. I don’t have a problem with waiting until next year, it’s just that I don’t want ram prices to make the same computers now to be even more expensive next year.
My take on this is if ur worried about RAM prices I would get one now, but it also means u might be missing out on certain improvements that comes in next year’s models. Personally I would wait till black friday since there are deals that could potentially make up for the jump in RAM prices, or if ur willing to take a gamble u could also wait till a back to school sale in 2027 and hope that RAM prices can at least stabilize. The decision is up to u on what matters more
